Senior Communications Manager

Runs the operational side of GetYourGuide's communications newsroom: story pipeline, media CRM, distribution, owned channels and media pitching.

What you'll do

  • Run the publishing pipeline so every story has a clear distribution path
  • Maintain the global media database and pitch lists by outlet format
  • Lead media relations and targeted pitching with agencies and freelancers
  • Manage the press page, media alerts and social distribution
  • Test new formats such as podcasts, Substack and creator partnerships

What they're looking for

  • Track record in communications, content operations or media
  • Hands-on media relations experience
  • Organised, process-driven owner of systems end to end
  • Daily use of AI and automation tools
  • Strong written English; native German is a plus
